LAVC FUNDRAISER AUG 18 FOR HC MAN ASSAULTED

A Hickory Cluster resident suffered serious injuries last week while walking home late from work.  As the Reston Patch reported on August 13:  "A man was robbed and assaulted on the bike path near Maple Ridge Road in Reston late last Wednesday.  The victim, 46, was in the 11500 block of Maple Ridge near Lake Anne about 10:45 p.m. on August 7 when two men approached him, according to police reports. The victim told police the men assaulted him and stole his cash.  The victim was hospitalized for his injuries and reported the incident the next day.
